Tonight’s massacre at the hands of the Arizona Diamondbacks isn’t even worth blogging about, but I cannot help it. Someone is mad, and it ain’t the Atlanta Braves.
Coming off a hot-streaky 4-game sweep of the hapless New York Mets, the Braves currently are getting their collective rear-ends handed to them right now, 10-1 Diamondbacks.
I lost count of the number of home runs so far. It’s always a bad sign when Chris Resop is already pitching in the 6th inning. This is one of those roller coaster rotation games from the Braves, with Jo Jo Reyes pitching this non-gem today. Five runs in the first? Whoa nelly!
I am cracking open beers right now, wanting to still celebrate this week’s Mets romp. I will pretend tonight just didn’t happen. Join me, friends.
